Welcome to StudyMap - Study Planner (“we,” “our,” or “us”). StudyMap - Study Planner is owned and operated by Momentum Apps Limited. By using the app (“App”), you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read these terms carefully, as they outline the rules and guidelines for using the App.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms, along with any additional terms and conditions of services provided by third parties, including but not limited to:

• Google Firestore Terms of Service
• Google AdMob Terms of Service

2. Description of the Service

The App provides tools for managing tasks, classes, subjects, and schedules, offering features such as:

• Calendar view with daily and monthly overviews.
• To-do lists for tasks and classes.
• Secure storage of user data using Google Firestore.

Internet Requirement: The App requires an active internet connection for full functionality. Some features may not be available without internet access.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activities conducted under your account.

You must not:

• Use the App in a way that could harm, disrupt, or overburden its infrastructure.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.

4. Fair Use and Excessive Use

To ensure the best experience for all users, we enforce a Fair Use Policy:

• The App is designed for personal productivity and educational use.
• Excessive or automated use that negatively impacts performance, stability, or availability for other users may result in temporary limitations, account suspension, or termination.
• Users engaging in abuse, scraping, automated interactions, or misuse of storage resources may be restricted without notice.

5. Account Creation

To access certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account or use the guest option:

• Registered Users: You must provide accurate and complete information, such as your email and name.
• Guest Users: Limited functionality is available, and data may not be recoverable if you switch devices.

6. Data and Privacy

All user data is stored securely in Google Firestore, and users are subject to Firestore’s terms of service. For detailed information about how we handle your data, refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Account Deletion

Users can delete their account and all associated data at any time:

• Via the Profile screen in the App.
• By contacting us through the Contact Form.

Once an account is deleted:

• All local data stored via AsyncStorage on your device will be deleted.
• All remote data in Firestore will be permanently removed.
• Deleted data cannot be recovered. If you wish to continue using the App after deletion, you will need to create a new account or use the guest option.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Loss of data or damage resulting from the use of the App.
• Issues caused by third-party services like Google Firestore or Google AdMob.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid (if any) by you for using the App.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and underlying code, is the intellectual property of Momentum Apps Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify the App without prior written consent.

10. Modifications to the App or Terms

We reserve the right to modify the App or these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the App or our website. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
